Graham Freeman, Business Development Director
Graham served in the British armed forces and undertook Special Forces training. This experience, coupled with his expertise in the private security industry, has given him a deep understanding of clients' security needs. He has the business acumen to meet with and discuss the clients requirements and in conjunction with our operational wings formulate precise and defined strategy's to fulfil those requirements.
Ray Ashton, Operations Director (Marine Based Services)
Ray is a qualified and experienced seafarer, having served 10 years in seagoing activities and 12 years as a Detective with the UK Police Service, during which time he was trained and involved in anti-terrorist operations and seconded to No. 3 Regional Crime Squad. He is technically qualified and experienced in the maritime industry and specialises with yachts and Superyachts and has vast experience of commercial ship owners' requirements, particularly in relation to the Greek shipping and yachting industry. Ray is a fluent speaker of the Greek language.
Philip Campbell Smith, Operations Director (Land Based Services)
Phil built up his unique knowledge and experience of security issues during the latter part of his military career. He served in two specialist intelligence units that operated in covert surveillance and human source-handling roles in a hostile environment.
This hands on experience in surveillance, investigations and close protection has enabled him to successfully handle scores of high risk and high profile security operations worldwide.
Nigel Thomas, Training & Recruitment Director
Nigel Thomas completed 14 years British military service. He served 7 years with the Royal Marines, including 2 years with the Special boat service (SBS) and two years with 14 Intelligence Company (14 int) this was followed by a further 7 years service with 22 SAS.
Since leaving the military, he has specialized in personal security, close protection, covert surveillance, anti surveillance and counter surveillance. Nigel has trained Special Forces and specialist Police units around the world in all areas of anti-terrorism and anti-piracy skills.
He is also an associate instructor and advisor to the Resilience Centre, Cranfield University at the Defence Academy of the United Kingdom.
All our security personnel are recruited and vetted by Nigel and his team. Our in-house training teams ensure all our personnel receive the most up to date specialist training and certification required to carry out their anti-piracy duties.
Communications & IT Manager
Our IT manager Valentino Semeria BA (Hons), MCSE worked as an IT security and content specialist for the largest IT services company in the world – Logica CMG. Tino and his team of experts are available 24 hours a day for consultation and troubleshooting purposes. As key contributors to our services they ensure that all systems remain trouble-free throughout all operations. They remain available for immediate contact with our protection teams and operations room throughout strike situations.
